It is directed to young parents. The objective is to help parents to reflect and plan together, to make decisions and establish priorities, to organize their personal, professional and family lives, according to the style of family they want.
The course consists of 5 sessions and the idea is for the course to be distributed in Schools, Pre-school Educational Centers, Parents Associations, Family Associations and Federations, etc. in Spain as well as in other countries.
The European Parents Association has awarded its third prize, “ALCUIN AWARD’ 09″ to the Course. The Alcuin Award is a prize os educational excellence which highlights the parent’s role. The criteria to achieve this award are the following:
- Originality
- Contribution to education
- Participation of the parents
- Constructive focus on the relationship between the home and school
- Educational Model with easy circulation in Europe
The International for Federation Family Development (IIFD), active since 1978, have worked on the promotion and support to a variety of initiatives in favor of marriage and the family, and are currently collaborating with the diffusion of this course.
